Megan Schneeberger

Megan Schneeberger is a movement artist and frustrated citizen in Charleston, SC. She grew up in the Bitterroot Valley in Montana where she began her dance training at River Street Dance Theater in Hamilton.  After earning a BFA in Choreography and Performance from the University of Montana she moved to Chicago and immediately found a dance home with The Space Movement Project in 2005. While primarily focused on collaborative performance generation with TSMP, she has also had the privilege of working with Epiphany Productions, Ann Carlson, Florin Fieuru, Silvita Diaz Dance, Khecari, Ayako Kato, and Kristina Isabelle. She believes passionately in the role of art in affecting social change and the responsibility of artists to be vigilant and rigorous participants in cultural progress.
